CHRIST HARVEST EVENTS

SUNDAY SERVICE

Every Sunday 10:30am

Christ Harvest gathers every Sunday for our worship service at 10:30am and it usually lasts around 90 minutes. Every service has vibrant Spirit led worship, anointed preaching from the word of God and a great kid’s programme. Our worship service caters for everyone, young or old, single or married, new to faith or seasoned believers. We’re a family and we welcome everyone that visits as part of our CHC family too. We usually hang around after the service to catch up with each other over a FREE tea or coffee, so please stay behind so we can get to know you too; we’re confident you’ll feel right at home when you join us.
We encourage everyone to join us in person, but understand this is not always possible so our Sunday services are also streamed live to our website, Facebook and YouTube. If you missed our live stream you can still view our latest message here.

Cafe Life

10:30am to 12.00pm
Every Wednesday

Café Life provides SPACE – to talk, listen and watch. Café Life also provides TIME – to relax, rewind and relate. It’s open every Wednesday from 10.30-12.00.
The world is constantly changing and life can become a real challenge, both physically and mentally. We are able to provide food hampers where necessary, and talk through any ‘life’ issues visitors may have.
At CHC we believe in offering people hope in Jesus Christ, so part-way through the session we show a ‘life spot’ when we invite you to explore (if you wish) a Jesus-focused topic, introduced through a DVD or live talk. This gives the opportunity to take part in a friendly discussion, helping to improve independence and confidence.
We provide excellent free speciality hot drinks plus a range of cake, buns and biscuits.
Call in and visit us – everyone welcome.

HOPE AND HELP

10:30am to 1:00pm
Every Wednesday

At CHC we believe in offering people hope in Jesus Christ. We are living in a time of great uncertainty, where the world is constantly changing and prices are constantly increasing. We know that many people feel lost and like they can’t cope with all that life throws at them. Every week we’re intentional about reaching out by delivering food hampers to the most vulnerable in our local community. Our team are highly experienced in helping people overcome all types of addiction and life controlling issues. We know one of the biggest problems at the moment is making ends meet, so we can also help with budgeting finances and getting free from debt. We are available to arrange confidential support, home visits, prayer or simply to chat over the phone.

THE STAND

Every Friday 7:30pm

We meet every Friday night for “The Stand”. This gathering started during the 2020 lockdown when church buildings were forced to close; we took a stand and met outside in our buildings car park, as we believe the church should NEVER stop fellowshipping together or sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ! We now continue to take a stand by meeting together every week to hear from God and intercede for our city, our nation and our world!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Of course! We are passionate about helping kids learn about Jesus in a safe and fun-filled environment. Every Sunday there are age-specific activities for kids aged 3-9 years in Kidz church, whilst our A.R.M.Y is for 10-14 year olds. We also have a baby/toddler room with comfy chairs, bottle warming and nappy changing facilities too for parents with younger children.

Kids are welcome at The Stand on Friday nights too. We don’t operate Kidz Church/A.R.M.Y at these meetings, so kids do stay in the service, but don’t let this put you off. There are always kids around… we are a family church and we encourage you to bring your kids as often as possible.

Our main entrance, lift and all other rooms have wheelchair access. We also have a disabled toilet.
Our building is part of the Aire Valley Business Centre and we have our own entrance on the corner of Alice Street and Lawkholme Lane. For directions via Sat Nav; just search for Christ Harvest Church, BD21 3BB.
There is free on street parking on Alice Street on Sunday mornings and Friday evenings. Free parking can also be found in the Aire Valley Business Centre Car Park just off Lawkholme Lane.
During the service there is an opportunity to give by filling in a giving envelope or online via bank transfer. Giving online is the simplest and easiest way to give; you can choose to give a onetime gift or set up to give regularly.
